A party's record has a lot of information just one click away.


Link A are the matter associations. These can be direct associations or those by way of an entity governing the party. This is the default view.


The second link (B) will list those entity associations and allow you to make new ones.


A party can be represented by a law firm. Link C will list who represents them or allow you to create those relationships.


Parties can have more than one address. Link D lists the addresses other than the main address of the party.


The last link (E) will display any payments made to the party as recorded in the matter records including insurance payments.

With the number of different outside counsel you work with it is important to maintain cohesion with the types of files they add to your LAWTRAC document bank.


To help facilitate this you can restrict the types of documents they can add.


So if your staff does not use Word Perfect you can exclude those types of document from being added.

Rather than going to each matter an outside counsel is assigned to in order to see the documentation they have added you can go to their management record and list them all at once.


The list will include the matter number they are associated to and the date the document was added.
