The Control Amount and International Currencies
When working with the Control Amount feature in conjunction with foreign currency invoices the control feature is a tool to assist the person keying in the information.

Imagine if you would you receive an invoice from a firm in Japan. The invoice is for 750,000 yen [A]. You enter the 750,000 as the control amount and begin keying in the line items [B].

After keying in all the line items the invoice total in US Dollars is 8,290.04 [C].

The control amount looks at the amounts keyed in, not at the converted amounts. The idea is the person keying in won't know what the final amount will be once the currency conversion is done for every line item.

Matter Time Account Screen Receives Make-Over
The time accounting screen within the matter record has received a make-over which will help make the data more usefull.

The screen is split into two sections. The default listing will have a break-down of date entries [A] in chronological order while the right side [B] will display the total hours as reported for the top level business unit.

Clicking a person's name will refresh the right side to reveal the time entries for that person [C]. If you would like to see the details of the time as reported for the activity click the LEDES code and that list [D] will be shown.
