If you would like to add a web address to your firm or vendor records do so when you edit their record.


Once you've done this a link will appear on the firm / vendor roster screens and from the first screen on their firm information screen.


This function can also be used to point to any web application they may have set-up to support your company and the matters you've assigned them to.

Here is a little known trick you can use when using the firm or vendor roster screens.


On the right side there is a drop-down list with the four custom filters your company can set against firm records.


This little gem remembers what you select. If you use one of the top four lists to refine the lower section, your selection will still be enforced.


Log out and return tomorrow, the application will remember. So if you are the kind of person who always looks for 'approved' or 'recommended' firms and vendors use this selection option and let the application filter out the noise.

When you use the email a document function from inside LAWTRAC there will be an entry made on the document calendar.


But the option to enter a text record too is available.


When checked, an additional record will be made in the Matter Text area which will include to whom you sent the document along with the comments.
