The year has gone by FAST.


OK... Now is the time when we need to start looking at 2011 so we can make some plans.


Over the next few days we will be reviewing some reports to show year-to-date financials and attempt to apply them in some feature in LAWTRAC designed to keep an eye on spending during a fiscal year. We'll examine how to set saving targets and what to do as 2011 passes so you can see how close to your goals you are.


So much isn't really about managing the matters - that is almost too easy, but it is the money everyone wants LAWTRAC to keep an eye on.

An additional sort-order option has been added to the screens used by invoice approvers.


This option will list the invoices by the date they were received rather than the date reported by the outside counsel on the invoice.


The sort of Date Received will display the invoices on a 'first-in-first out' order meaning the oldest ones in your pending approval screens will be listed first.

Its all about managing the data....


To avoid accidentally releasing a person from active employment in your legal department who has invoices they still need to review a safety has been added.


There is an admin function that will take all those invoices and move them to another approver which is really quick and simple.


Once you get the invoices moved you can go ahead and mark the personnel record inactive.
