An update of The Numbers area of the main matter screen includes the display of the total for each reserve category.


This is the lifetime total. Users can quickly gage from using the total invoiced or budgeted what reserve category needs to be adjusted.

One feature that reflects the flexibility of the LAWTRAC application is the Reserves Module.


The ability to combine fiscal year/quarter settings with classification of specific entries allows some companies to simplify their internal budgeting requirements while still using entries to report amounts to a general ledger database as accruals.


Individual entries also allow for comments and will even conduct currency conversions for international matters.

The primary difference between the main Reserves link in the matter menu and the subordinate Details link is that the reserve entries are displayed with all the additional information which can accompany the entry.


These details include who made the entry, any comments and any currency exchange information.


So the main link shows the general entry information and the details link expands to show all the information.
